General

NextUp is an AI productivity platform that captures commitments from your meetings, emails, voice notes and files, surfaces what matters, helps you plan your day, and nudges you when things need attention. Available on web, Mac, iPhone and Apple Watch.

NextUp uses Claude and other large language models to read intent — identifying commitments, follow-ups, deadlines, decisions and ownership — then structures them as actionable items linked to the source.

Sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft to sync across your devices. Sign-in is free; you only pay for cloud AI usage.

Web, Mac, iPhone and Apple Watch — all in sync. The native apps are SwiftUI; the web app gives you the same workspace from any browser.

NextUp ships a Claude MCP connector. Add it once in claude.ai, approve the consent screen, and you can ask Claude about your meetings, actions and projects from inside Claude. ChatGPT is on the roadmap once a stable connector spec lands.

Privacy & Data

Yes. Transcription runs on-device when possible using Apple’s own frameworks. Cloud processing is opt-in; when used, audio is transmitted over TLS 1.3, processed, and not retained.

Every account has its own AES-256 encryption key, managed by Google Cloud KMS. Sensitive content is encrypted at rest with that per-user key, so even our database can't read it without unwrapping the key. TLS 1.3 in transit everywhere.

No. Your meetings, files and notes are never used to train AI models — not ours, not anyone else’s. We don't sell or share data with third parties.

Your files live in your own cloud — Google Drive, OneDrive or iCloud. You pick. Metadata and search indexes live on our backend, encrypted with your per-account key. Export or delete anything from Settings.

Yes. Disconnect any connector — Gmail, Outlook, Drive, the Claude MCP connection — from NextUp in one tap. No support tickets, no waiting.

Pricing

NextUp uses a credit-based system. You get free credits to start, and can purchase more as needed. Credits are used for cloud transcription and AI features. On-device features are always free.

We offer both Top-Ups (pay-as-you-go) and a subscription option for heavier users. You can choose whichever model works best for you.

Yes. NextUp is free to download and comes with starter credits so you can try the full experience before purchasing.
